MergeRight
Background, resumable WXR import with per-item verification — for merging content into an existing site, not cloning over it.
Built · queued for submission
Why four say “queued”. All five are finished plugins with full test suites, and all five pass Plugin Check — WordPress.org’s own review tool — against a live install. The directory reviews one plugin per account at a time, so the rest wait behind FormCanary. They are queued, not unfinished.
How we build
Three rules, applied every time.
-
Evidence before code
We only build where demand is already proven and the incumbents are measurably disliked. Candidates that don’t clear the bar get dropped — including ones we wanted to build.
-
Gates, not vibes
Eight stages from selection to operation, each with a written gate. Nothing advances because it feels ready. Marketplace rules live as machine-readable checklists, not folklore.
-
Proof, not promises
Privacy rules are enforced by tests rather than asserted in a readme. Every claim on this site is one you can check.

Domain ownership verified for the plugin directory account
The directory checks that the domain a plugin declares is provably connected to the account submitting it. Verified via a DNS record at the apex, with the entity attribution added to every page here. No code changed — the review had raised no code, security or guideline findings.
-
FormCanary cleared automated pre-review
Zero code, security and guideline findings. The one item raised was the account-to-domain ownership check above.

A candidate was demoted and dropped
A full re-run of the selection gauntlet on a contact-form monitoring idea surfaced 14 verified competing products. It scored 19 out of 30 and did not proceed. Selection is only worth running if it can say no.
